Zeller Schwarze Katz (2011)
Product DesignZeller Schwarze Katz (2011)
Zell is a wine region at the river Mosel in West-Germany. On one side it’s famous for steep slopes and slate soil, which can only be harvested by hand, and on the other for a saga about a black cat, which fought successfully against rich investors to prevent them from taking over the wine tradition. The white wine which is produced in this area is called. Zeller schwarze Katz. By using this name a rough design was created, which represents the characteristics of handcrafted quality and refers to the myth of a wild cat fighting against all the odds.
